Question by Sterling: Iphone keeps shutting off when I lock it?
Okay well I have an Iphone 3g 8gb, and everyone time i press the lock button at the top, it turns off the whole phone. I have never dropped it, and I have an otterbox to make sure it’s safe. Even if I dont press the lock button and I just let it sit there, it turns off by itself again. I’ve only had it like 7 months, and haven’t jailbroken it, so is there a way that i can go take it to get exchanged?

Do you still have Apple Care on it? If you do, just unjailbreak it. You can do that by going onto iTunes and just restore it. Then, no one will ever know you jailbreak’d it.

I would say call Apple and let them deal with it , but they will ask you 100 andd one questions. So I say go to the nearest Apple store , or wherever you bought it and FLIP the fuck out.

You could either restore your iphone,pay your carrier company a lot of money for them to unlock it, or slap the shiz out of your friend and make him/her tell you what it is. Your choice

I was just noticing the when I press the home button and the lock button on the top right hand corner of my iPhone the screen turns white and it makes a sound like it does when it takes a picture. I went to my pictures to see if it took a picture but it didn’t. I’m just curious on why it is doing that?

iphone cant “slide unlock”(freeze) after use auto lock from general setting on iphone or if i disabled auto lock to “never” and if i push reset button and manualy lock, same thing happens.Phone is freeze an i can’t answer calls or slide to unlock.

Question by Anonymous: If i restore my unlocked iphone back to factory setting through itunes, will it lock my iphone back up again?
I unlocked it with version 2.2 firmware, and i was wondering if restoring it would affect it in anyway.

Yep… it will go back to normal settings, just as you got it out of the box. Note: any space taken by Jailbreak apps will be lost until you jailbreak again.
