My son has managed to hack into my iphone from HIS iphone and got into my voice mail and phone contacts. Not that it’s a big deal but if he can do it… so can anyone else. It’s password protected already.

You need to go into your settings and turn off your bluetooth and wifi. That’s how he’s getting in, either from a bluetooth connection or if you have wifi at home, he’s getting in because you guys are on the same network. I keep my bluetooth off all the time, and turn on wifi only when I need it.
Sounds like he’s also jailbroken his phone, maybe?…

The HTC Thunderbolt is HTC’s entrance onto Verizon’s 4G LTE network. The HTC Thunderbolt is supposedly the phone that Verizon believes people have been “dreaming” about. That’s quite a bit to live up to and puts quite a lot of pressure on the HTC Thunderbolt. For those familiar with the HTC Desire HD, the HTC Thunderbolt should look very familiar. In fact, it’d be safe to say that the HTC Thunderbolt is designed almost exactly like the HTC Desire HD. The biggest difference being that the HTC Thunderbolt can access Verizon’s new 4G LTE network. Starting off the HTC Thunderbolt has a 4.3 inch WVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen display covering the front of the phone. Below the display are the usual set of Android shortcuts for menu, home, back and search. Up above is a small 1.3 inch megapixel front facing camera used for video chatting. Placed on the right is the volume rocker, opposite resides the microUSB, and on top the 3.5 mm headphone jack and power / lock button. Question by dx: would pressing the home and turn on button at the same time reset and lock my iphone?
my ihpone wont turn on and i saw on google that ppl said to hold both the home key and the top button together and that should reset it but will it also lock the phone since i have it unlocked right now?
i do have things to lose all the apps and contacts and everything else. and its unlock so would i have to jailbreak it again??

Doing that is nothing other than a device reset and will not lock the device or cause anything to be lost. Only a master reset or connecting to iTunes and doing a restore will do those things

If that does not work then more drastic measures will be needed. Such as:
iPhone Recovery mode:
Disconnect your iPhone and turn it off by holding the “Sleep/Wake” button for about five seconds and then sliding the red slider. If your iPhone is already off, there’s no need to turn it on and then off again. Once it’s off, press and hold the “Home” button and plug your iPhone into a Mac or PC with iTunes installed. Keep holding the “Home” button until you see a dock cable pointing to the iTunes icon. iPhones running older software will display a yellow triangle and text which says “Please Connect to iTunes”. Once you see this image, you can release the Home button. Open iTunes (if it’s not already open) and you will be told that “iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.” Click “OK” and you will be taken to the iPhone pane. Click “Restore” and you’re done, it’s that easy! Depending on the extent of your iPhone’s ills, it may take some time to do a full restore. Once you’re done, you should again have a perfectly working iPhone.

If this doesn’t solve your problem, you may need to restore using DFU (Direct Firmware Upgrade) mode. To enter this mode, plug in your iPhone and turn it off. Hold down the “Home” and “Sleep/Wake” buttons for about twelve seconds. You’ll briefly see the silver Apple logo and then your phone will appear to turn back off. Release the “Sleep/Wake” button but continue to hold the “Home” button until you see a message in iTunes stating that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Choose “Restore” and you should be fixed right up!

If this is required to get it going again it will no longer be jailbroken/unlocked. Please see the links below for guides on how to do this based on your particular firmware/bootloader

It might be different in different cases, but here is a general pattern:

- Tear apart the device and extract the NAND chip
- Stick in into the chip reader and copy all the data
- Disassemble/Decompile the code into Assembly/C (maybe C++ or something LOW LEVEL). Java & Co. definitely won’t work here.
- Examine the code and find flaws in it.
- Write a program (usually C/C++) to exploit these flaws.

It is an art and not everyone can really do it as it requires a lot patience and a ‘hacker’ mindset.

NOTE: I tried my best, but the answer might very well be wrong.
