Question by Jake B.: Should I return My Archos 5?
I’ve been anticipating the day when i finally get my archos for the past 3 months… i’ve read all the reviews looked at all the demos and EVERYTHING!!! It arrived a few days ago and Overall ive been happy with it… but I just dont use it except for music and a little video… I didnt want to overspend on the purchase of an MP3 player but i’m afraid i did… I can settle for a nano or something.

So what do you think? Should I return it?

Lol….i really want an Archos 5 but its too expensive for me if you don’t use it for anything but music like… no internet no TV tuner then I’d say its pointless for you stick with a nano or something.

I am wondering about getting this thing. I see mixed reviews about it so I am not sure what to do. I would like the opinions of people that actually have one

Most definitely. I’ve owned 3 Archos PMPs now and am truly in awe of their capabilities. You can see the specs on their website, but the screen clarity is astounding, and the list of files it will play is almost limitless. I currently have the Archos 5 250 GB version and have my entire music collection on it as well as several tv series I want to catch up on. The only real downside to these is that the power cable is USB and the terminal end into the unit itself is proprietary, so to charge it you need the docking station, or have to bring the special charging cable. A solid unit with super screen clarity you just can’t beat.
