I noticed some games that have been developed with the 3d Rad engine has been ported to Android but I cant find any information on how it was done, I am wondering how can I convert my 3d Rad game so it can play in Android OS.

Is there any documentation describing how to set up a full Linux system install for Android OS on a PC? I am looking for a complete description starting with a Debian (or Fedora) OS install to getting /finding all the packages required (libraries / .so files, Java 1.5 or …) to build the Android-x86 code (or other PC-based Android OS).

I have an archos 7 tablet that has an OS android. It has Aldiko installed on it but offers very little books. I would like to download books off another site but am not sure how. If anyone has any experience with this I could use some advice. Thank You

Books written before 1923 are free to download. Check Gutenberg.
Books written since 1923, you need the permission of the author or publisher to read for free. Most authors can not afford to give them away for free. Respect that.

So I have both the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the LG Optimus Black.
I love the firmware running on my Galaxy S2, and I wanted to flash the Optimus with it (its the official stock Gingerbread that comes with the Galaxy S2 originally).
Where could I find that same exact firmware for flashing on the LG phone?
And will it include those cool things that come with the S2, such as touching the phone with two fingers and then moving it back and forward for zooming out and in?

Basically I wanted to get my dad a tablet for father’s day because he occasionally talks about how the hospital is seemingly forcing all the doctors to tech up a little and get tablets or apps for their phones. because it is in my budget (up to 0) and frankly isn’t that complicated of a tool. My dad isn’t the greatest with technology, but hey this seems simple enough right?
So I was hoping that you guys could help me out and tell me if this would be reasonable and if there do exist (specifically name one please) apps for physicians to use.
My dad is a Neurologist if that helps. He diagnoses and does a lot of consultations. He is also very involved in sleep studies if that factors into the equation.

My dad is a doctor also. He has the iPad 2 and he has all his medical apps on there also. I am not sure whether those apps are on android, but here are some.

If it helps, look in the Medical category of the app store in Apple and see if some apps are also on the android market.

Question by Jack: 2 Questions About Android OS?
I just got a DroidX for Christmas, and while I would consider myself fairly good with technology, I am really struggling here and Google isn’t helping much 
My first question is an app question: a while back I saw an app on a Droid commercial that could use the Droid’s camera to search nearby shops and such. You aim the camera down a street or something, and it’ll use the camera to show you shop names, maybe if it was a gas station what the prices were, etc. I found it on my friend’s Droid a while ago but I can’t seem to find it now.
And another question…is there a way to remove certain default apps, such as the messaging one? I got the Handcent app, a replacement messaging app, and I always just kill the regular one(messaging as in texting, by the way) so I was wondering if I could remove that and the Droid’s default Browser, because I downloaded Opera. Thank you in advance for the help!
